Cap and Gown Pick Up - Tuesday, May 16, 2023

 Tuesday, May 16th at lunch we will be handing out caps & gowns; extra items you purchased; lawn signs and an important informational handout in the quad.  If you still need to purchase a cap & gown, please bring cash and Josten’s will be able to assist students/parents on a first come, first served basis.  If you are not able to pick up those items that day, please come see Ms.

Congratulations to West Campus Junior Jade Melendres for being a finalist in the National Geographic competition: Videos for Change.  This is a worldwide competition with over 1,800 submissions being reduced to 15 finalists.  

As part of the competition, there is a people’s choice vote.  Please support Jade by voting here.  

Jade’s video is titled: Paint-O-Beans Paint

Seniors: The Application Process for the West Campus Foundation for Excellence 2023 Scholarships is Now Open!

The West Campus Foundation for Excellence is excited to offer ten scholarships of at least $1,000 to graduating seniors this year. 

We are offering a mix of needs-based and merit-based scholarships, including one $1,500 scholarship to a student pursuing art or attending a vocational, trade, or technical school.

Hello West Campus Families,

Please welcome the newest member to our staff, Ashley Devonshire.  Ms. Devonshire is our College and Career Technician.  She will be working closely with Ms. McNamara regarding all things college and career.  She will be set up, either in the counseling office or in the library this week and for the rest of the school year.  She is here each day from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Students, please stop by to introduce yourselves and see what she can do to support you!

Next Week is spring break.  Our offices will be closed.  School will resume on Monday, April 10, 2023.

Thank you to the parents and family members who attended our inaugural Lunch With Your Warrior day!  It was great to see so many families enjoying a meal on campus.  We will schedule a second date before the end of the school year.

Hello West Campus Families,

We have a busy week ahead of us leading up to spring break the following week.  On Monday, please join our Equity Team - during this meeting at 3:40 pm in room 3, we will be reviewing survey data from our students.  This will be an informational dive into direct student feedback.

On Thursday, please come to school to have lunch with your Warrior!  This is a day to see your student at school and bring them a special meal.  We look forward to seeing parents on campus during our lunch hour of 12:03 pm to 12:42 pm.

Hello West Campus Families,

Please mark your calendar to join us for the first “Have Lunch with your Warrior” Day.  This will be an opportunity for parents to come to school to have lunch with their student during lunch at school.  This will happen on Thursday, March 30, 2023.  Parents are invited to come to school and bring a special lunch for their student.  This is a chance to have some social time with your student in their school environment.  

On Thursdays, lunch begins at 12:03 pm.

If you or your student are interested in taking a summer class at a community college, now is the time to search the catalog and select a class.  Look for more details coming soon, any student who is 14 year old or older is eligible to register for a course.
