Course Descriptions

The following guide details some of the course selections available at West Campus. All courses required for graduation and college admission are offered and are approved in advance by the SCUSD Board of Trustees.

Course selections are determined by a number of factors including:

• graduation and college admissions requirements
• school and district achievement data
• student interest
• teacher availability/expertise 
• fiscal resources

In some instances, due to these factors, courses listed in this guide may not be available. Please seek assistance from your counselor if this occurs.
