Fireworks Booth – Fundraiser for Music Program! 

Please consider supporting the WC Music Boosters June 28th to July 4th by buying fireworks at Fruitridge & Freeport. The fireworks booth can be found in the Walgreens parking lot at 5501 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95822. We also need LOTS of volunteers 18+ to help staff the booth. Sign Up to Participate in 4th of July Parade with the West Campus Band & Color Guard:

The West Campus Band & Color Guard will be performing in the Rancho Cordova 4th of July Parade in the morning of Tuesday, July 4th. If you did not know, our music program will receive a $2,000 donation for performing in the Rancho Cordova 4th of July Parade, and can earn up to $3,000 more in the band competition! We need a minimum of 25 performers to earn the $2,000 stipend. At least 25% must be under age of 21, which means alumni and adults with instrumental or guard experience are also welcome to participate! 

We will have two rehearsals at West Campus to prepare for the performance. The 4th of July parade is a much longer parade compared to the Music in the Parks performance. Students who perform in the 4th of July parade will be required to attend our two rehearsals to build proper endurance and technique.

4th of July Band Camp at West Campus:

• Rehearsal 1 – Saturday, June 24th: 8am – 1pm
• Rehearsal 2 – Saturday, July 1st: 8am – 1pm

We will also need family volunteers to help walk alongside the band and provide water to students during the parade.

If any alumni or incoming students are interested in performing, they should RSVP to westcampusband@gmail.com or Briana-Fonseca@scusd.edu by Monday, June 12th with their name, instrument/color guard interest, and t-shirt size.
